BolognaFiere and Ipack-Ima Spa sign an important agreement: a new company will manage the Pharmintech exhibition.

Industry leaders confirm their participation in the next edition.

BolognaFiere and Ipack-Ima spa have signed an important agreement, creating a new partnership (51% BolognaFiere / 49% Ipack-Ima Spa) to acquire the Pharmintech trademark and manage the exhibition - the reference point for the pharmaceutical, parapharmaceutical, and food packaging industries - whose next edition will be held at the Bologna Exhibition Centre from 12 to 14 May 2010.

Unindustria will also play a role in managing the new company, which will own the trademark and the exhibition as well as manage Pharmintech, the leading European showcase of technologies, materials, and services for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical, parapharmaceutical, and food products, held every three years.

Ipack-Ima Spa will remain the organizational secretary.

The next edition of Pharmintech will confirm the presidency of Sergio Dompé and the sponsorship of Farmindustria, the leading industry association. Based on the applications received, it is expected that all of the exhibitors from the previous edition will confirm their attendance in May 2010, acknowledging Pharmintech as the European reference point for these business sectors.
