BolognaFiere inaugurated its new Michelino Car Park on Friday, 25 September 2009. This new multi-level structure for the Exhibition Centre and the City of Bologna provides 6,000 additional parking spaces to exhibitors and visitors, for a total of 14,500 spaces.

The car park was built by Bologna & Fiera Parking with project financing by the City of Bologna as part of a plan to develop infrastructures outside the city centre.

The inauguration was attended by: Simonetta Saliera, Councillor for Mobility Policy of the City of Bologna; Fabio Roversi Monaco, President of BolognaFiere; Federico Minoli, CEO of BolognaFiere; Giovanni Giuliani, CEO of Bologna & Fiera Parking, and Giovanni Dionisi, representative of Autostrade per l’Italia and President of Bologna & Fiera Parking.
